Why Senses. Yoga?
I offer classes that are balanced yet challenging, intimate yet liberating. I deeply believe that Yoga is for everybody — in every body. Having studied pedagogy, worked in marketing, and through years of personal growth and self-reflection, I have developed a deep understanding of inner processes. This allows me to hold a safe and supportive space for others as they explore their own journey.

My Story.
My name is Julia – and with over 15 years of personal yoga experience and as a trained Hatha Yoga teacher, I share here my passion for the practice of Yoga.
I received my training and initiation at Yoga Vidya in Nashik, India. To this day, yoga is an essential part of my life, if not the main component of my life. Based on my life journey, I can see and personally attest to the transformative power behind the spiritual practice of yoga.
In the last 5 years — since I have been initiated in a training in India I teach now internationally, from Germany, Portugal, Israel, to Thailand, Sri Lanka and India.
For me, yoga is much more than just a physical practice; it is a deep dive into my essence – free from all external impulses.
Furthermore, Yoga is getting to know what is unchanging within us.
It was only this year that I was able to gain a deeper understanding of its sister science, Ayurveda: during my time at an Ayurvedic hotel in Sri Lanka, I was able to accompany people not only in yoga, but also in medical consultations. By translating the consultations, I was able to not only learn Ayurvedic knowledge, but also to pass it on.
Also this year, I have absolved my first Reiki Initiation as well my first Thai Yoga Massage training - giving me a deeper understanding of the complexity of the human body.
Hatha Yoga
A gentle yet challenging practice, always tailored to your needs. Rooted in tradition, Hatha Yoga goes beyond “entertainment” — it invites you to observe how your mind responds, especially when facing challenging postures.
Pre- & Postnatal
A carefully designed class to support you in this unique phase of life. With mindful adjustments for each trimester, the practice offers safe postures, space for relaxation, and gentle preparation for the transformative journey of giving birth.
Yin Yoga
A deeply calming practice to help you soften and release. Working with your energetic field, I combine Reiki and mindful wording to create a safe space, allowing you to fully surrender and rest in the present moment.
student & teacher, equally.

Since 15 years, I have been a devoted student of yoga, and for the last 5 years, I have had the pleasure and blessings of teaching yoga as well.
My education is deeply rooted in tradition, as I learned yoga at Yoga Vidya Gorukul in India, near Mumbai. Here, I received my first certification as a Hatha yoga teacher, followed by another additional certification as a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher.
Furthermore, I have attended several workshops on deepening meditation practice at Kaivalyadhama in Lonavla, India, and I am a certified student of phytotherapy in Berlin.
My approach to yoga emphasizes relaxation through a practice that integrates movement, vocal expression, and breathwork.
