Subject
Yoga Wellness Retreat

Location
Taghazout, Morocco

Dates
29th of October to 2nd of November
This retreat is a soft landing for women who are ready to rest, reset, and reconnect — to themselves, to each other, and to the ancient rhythms of body and earth.
Surrounded by wild desert dunes and ocean air, we’ll practice yoga, share nourishing meals, explore Ayurvedic rituals, and remember the wisdom that lives in our bones.
You don’t have to show up a certain way.
You’re welcome exactly as you are.
Where?
Nestled between the golden sands of the Atlantic coast and the tranquil foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Taghazout is a hidden gem in southern Morocco – a soulful seaside village where time slows down and nature invites you to reconnect.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, palm-fringed beaches, and a laid-back surf culture, Taghazout offers the perfect backdrop for our Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat.
Here, where our sunrise flows greet the ocean, and our evenings close with glowing sunsets and nourishing Ayurvedic cuisine, we welcome you to our carefully selected venue — a stunning villa perched atop the hills of Taghazout.
With seven en-suite rooms offering not only breathtaking views but also a space to deeply relax and restore your body and soul, this is a sanctuary for true renewal.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just beginning your journey, the peaceful rhythm, the warm community, and the breathtaking scenery make it a place to breathe deeply, stretch freely - and find your stillness.
This retreat is not only about reconnecting to the sacred wisdom within you, or immersing in the timeless teachings of yoga and Ayurveda. It is also a deep invitation to experience the spirit of Morocco — a land of texture, colour, tradition, and soulful beauty.
And perhaps most importantly, this is a female-only retreat — a sanctuary of sisterhood, where we celebrate the unique power that arises when women gather with intention. In a circle of trust, we witness, uplift, and remember the ancient strength we carry — together.
Step into the sacred Ground of Morocco to deepen your connection to yourself and the divine.

Good Reasons for Morocco

Elemental Alignment
The desert heat balances Vata dosha, the ocean cools excess Pitta, and the grounding energy of the mountains supports Kapha — making Morocco energetically ideal for Ayurvedic balancing.

Culinary Harmony
Moroccan cuisine shares Ayurvedic principles — warm, spiced, seasonal, and digestion-friendly. Our retreat chef can blend Moroccan flavors with Ayurvedic wisdom beautifully.
A Meeting of Ancient Wisdoms
Experience ancient healing in a new light — as Ayurveda meets the rich traditions of Moroccan wellness, from Berber herbal medicine to purifying hammam rituals. This unique fusion deepens your journey and connects you to something timeless.

Slow Living Culture
The unhurried pace of local life is a natural match for the Ayurvedic rhythm of rest, ritual, and conscious nourishment.

Meet your Teachers
Julia Maria

With over 15 years of personal yoga practice and 5 years as a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, I am passionate about sharing the transformative wisdom of yoga. I received my training and blessings from Yoga Vidya in Nashik, India, and continue to explore yoga as a lifelong journey of learning and inner connection.
Recently, I’ve deepened my understanding of Ayurveda while assisting at a traditional Ayurvedic hotel—an experience that illuminated the profound synergy between yoga and Ayurveda as tools for healing, balance, and alignment with nature.
Yoga, to me, is not just a discipline — it is a lifelong journey. I am deeply committed to continually expanding my knowledge and honoring the ancient wisdom of yoga as a living, breathing tradition—one that invites us to keep learning, softening, and remembering.
With a background in pedagogy, psychology, and marketing, I create grounded, heart-led spaces that support self-discovery and inner growth. To me, It is an honour to hold this sacred space for you — for your process, your practice, and your unfolding. May it support you in discovering deeper layers of yourself that you can carry home with clarity, presence, and grace.
This journey is for you. The sacred land, the practices, the stillness, and the shared stories are all waiting. And so am I.
Erin Fiebig
Namaste, my name is Erin, and it is an absolute pleasure to meet you on your path to wellness.
I have taught yoga for four years, guiding students through Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra practices. My teaching is rooted in presence, intentional movement, and the belief that yoga is a powerful tool for transformation.
I see yoga as more than just a physical practice. It’s a way of living with awareness and intention. My path has been deeply enriched by Ayurveda—the sister science of yoga. Embracing the principle that food is medicine has profoundly transformed my life, bringing me back into balance and helping me live in greater harmony with nature’s rhythms. These insights naturally infuse my classes, where I love to offer grounding practices and lifestyle tools that support holistic wellbeing.

At the retreat, I’ll be sharing a carefully curated blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra—each chosen to align with the retreat’s Ayurvedic themes and support inner stillness, self-inquiry, and renewal. My intention is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and gently guided back to your own inner wisdom.
I’m honored to share this journey with you!
